Ingredients

  • 16 oz frozen sliced peaches
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar or honey
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 handful fresh mint leaves, for garnish
  • 4 slices lemon wheels, for garnish

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Citrus Juicer
  • Knife

Method

  1. Juice the Lemons: Roll the fresh lemons on the counter to soften them, slice, and juice until you yield one full cup. Discard any seeds.
  2. Load the Blender: Add the frozen peaches, lemon juice, sugar, and cold water to the pitcher of a blender.
  3. Blend the Base: Pulse a few times to break up the frozen fruit, then blend on medium-high for 45 seconds until smooth.
  4. Add Ice: Drop the ice cubes into the blender and run for an additional 30 seconds until a thick, slushy texture is formed.
  5. Serve: Pour immediately into chilled glasses, garnish with a lemon wheel and fresh mint, and enjoy.

Notes

  • If substituting alcohol, swap one cup of cold water for one cup of your preferred spirit.
  • Pour leftover slush into popsicle molds to freeze for the next day.
